It's so true, you know. When you throw the characters of your novel into a roleplay environment, the character is nudged and coerced into blooming into this fully realised, 3-D person. I thought I knew Sebastian well before I started the RP, but just recently a storyline he's in stripped another sheet of paper away from the creation and showed he had a real, beating heart and a masquerade all his own. I have a real love for this character now that allows me to write him so much better. I fully recommend any writers to get involved in a decent RP, it's so helpful.

OH YES. Anyone that ever thought vampire movies from the 1970s were all grey-haired Christopher Lee running about, never showing bites without that damnable cloak covering it, ugly men and stupid women in big white nightdresses - WE WERE ALL WRONG.
Some of you may have heard of Andy Warhol - well, he made a vampire film called 'Blood for Dracula' and it's MONSTROUS. The bite scenes are amazing and so horribly drawn out. Superb.
